Harbor Brass Quintet to Support Opening Day of "Kevin on the Roof" STRIVE Fundraiser in Saco
The Maine Pops Concert Band’s Harbor Brass Quintet is scheduled to perform during the opening day of “Kevin on the Roof,” the 11th annual STRIVE fundraiser held on the roof of Patriot Subaru in Saco. The effort is led by Kevin Fitzpatrick, the Program Director of STRIVE U and the goal is raising $90,000 for STRIVE programs.
Beach Street Big Band Holiday Concert
The Beach Street Big Band has scheduled its 2026 Holiday Concert for Saturday, December 19 at 7 p.m. at First Parish Congregational Church in Saco, ME.
The 19-member swing band - an affiliate of the Maine Pops Concert Band - will be conducting its third holiday concert since its inception. Music will likely combine some traditional jazz along with some holiday big band classics.

Clarinet Chromatics Concert at The Temple in Ocean Park
The Clarinet Chromatics - one of 10 small ensembles of the Maine Pops Concert Band - will perform on Wednesday, August 26 at 7 p.m. at Jordan Hall in Ocean Park, ME. The clarinet ensemble is made up of soprano, alto and bass clarinets, with over a half-dozen performers participating.
Polished Brass Performance @ Camp Timanous, Raymond
The Polished Brass - the Maine Pops Concert Band’s all-inclusive brass ensemble, will perform at Raymond, Maine’s Camp Timanous on Wednesday, August 26 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. The Polished Brass consists of musicians performing on trumpet, trombone, French horn, euphonium and tuba will close out their 2026 summer season with a 60-90 minute performance on camp’s lakefront area.
