The Beach Street Big Band has scheduled its 2026 Holiday Concert for Saturday, December 12 at 7 p.m. at First Parish Congregational Church, 12 Beach Street, Saco, ME.

Under the direction of Thomas Lizotte, the 19-member swing band - an affiliate of the Maine Pops Concert Band - will be conducting its third holiday concert since its inception. Its instrumentation is of traditional big band instruments - five saxophones, four trombones, five trumpets, one guitar, one bass, one drummer, one pianist, and two vocalists. Various other instruments - such as clarinets, flutes, and flugelhorns - may be added to the mix.

Music for this concert will likely combine some traditional jazz along with some holiday big band classics. More details will be announced as the concert approaches.
