Harbor Brass Quintet entertain Ken’s Place diners in Scarborough
Congratulations to the Harbor Brass Quintet for their successful performance July 25 at Ken’s Place seafood restaurant in Scarborough.
The ensemble - comprised of Larry Langmore and Nate Caron on trumpet, Alison McCarty on French horn, Jim McDonough on trombone, and Tom Mackie on tuba - raised $126 for the Maine Pops Concert Band in our donation basket!
Attendance was a "little thin" under the performance tent behind the restaurant, but the ensemble received assurances from the ownership that any future performance at Ken's would be up front near the restaurant signage and closer to ordering and dining patrons.
Harbor Brass returns to Portland International Jetport on July 31 and August 22 to conclude their series of arrival concerts, performing at the arrival hall near baggage claim. Both hour-long sessions will begin at 11 a.m.
